Overview

Alchemy ("the App") is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and your cocktail recipes, ratings, and bar inventory stay on your device and in your personal iCloud account.

Data Storage

All data you create in Alchemy, including cocktail recipes, ratings, favourites, notes, and bar ingredients, is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, this data syncs to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service.

We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Your data lives on your device and in your iCloud account, both of which are controlled by you.

Analytics

Alchemy does not collect any analytics data. We do not track how you use the app, and no usage data is transmitted to any server.

What We Don't Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Contacts or photos (beyond images you voluntarily add to recipes)
• Advertising identifiers
• Browsing or search history outside the app

Third-Party Services

• Apple iCloud / CloudKit for syncing your data across your devices. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• Apple App Store for processing any in-app purchases. Governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

Alchemy is not directed at children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
